九年失聯的歲月在巴黎街頭漫步與停佇休息中逐一倒帶並填補過去的失之交臂、在急切地大量詩辭化的戀人絮語中挖掘兩人內心隱藏的各個層面。
全篇以你來我往流暢的內心的對話交織著；用壓縮過的對話捕捉生命的美好和內心的真摯情感。
巴黎街景中的咖啡館、公園和塞納河猶如相機快拍閃過。
 
Celine的活力充沛及表象的成熟與現實之下 (起初她極力否認她們曾經做愛，她選擇將記憶封鎖並且不再期待) 有一個注意細節的靈魂，在創作歌曲"A Waltz For A Night" 的自彈自唱中壓抑豐沛情感。
Jesse無名指上的婚戒被若有似無地觸摸滾動中提起而輕輕放下，他的婚姻是一條死巷對照他的熱情奔放。
